Our next upcoming presentation is on March 26, by Sohyeon Jung. Jung is a fourth year applied mathematics PhD student studying machine learning. We are also looking for another speaker so if you want to present your research please reach out!
This series is a peer-to-peer, student-only event designed to provide a low-stakes and supportive environment for practicing research presentations. It’s a great opportunity for students who are planning to present at an upcoming conference, meeting, or seminar, and would like constructive feedback from fellow students beforehand.
Because this event is for students only, presenters can focus on improving their communication and presentation skills without the added pressure of presenting to faculty or senior researchers. Talks can be informal and are meant to be a space for learning, growth, and encouragement.
Reach out to Vince Campo if you are interested to participate.
