Abstract
The classical duality theorems seem to say: Do the same thing
twice, and you get back what you started with; but with crossed-product
duality, we do two different things and get back something different
from what we started with. In this talk, I'll try to show how this can
still be reasonably regarded as a duality theorem. Along the way,
we'll review and discuss the relevant concepts from category theory:
naturality, natural isomorphisms, category equivalence, and
adjoint functors.
