Abstract
At the level of elementary calculus, we discuss a simple evaluation of an integral which played a crucial role in discovery of Quantum Mechanics.
A story, historical line, of this remarkable discovery will be outlined. Some review articles, dedicated to the forthcoming 100th anniversary of the birth of wave mechanics, will be mentioned.
