If you want to deepen your understanding of the physical world through mathematics, the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Arizona State University has an undergraduate program to meet your needs. Our collection of bachelor’s degree programs, minors and certificates will increase your analytical and computing skills, logical thinking and expertise in problem solving — all favorable skills for many employers and graduate institutions.
Your journey toward gaining a firm foundation in mathematical thinking starts with your undergraduate admission application to ASU. When applying to the university, you’ll declare a major or minor in actuarial science, computational mathematical sciences, mathematics or statistics. You can also choose a certificate in cryptology.
In order to join our school, you must meet all the general university requirements for admission. Keep in mind the admission requirements may vary whether you’re an incoming freshman, a transfer student or an international student.
