Course description: Robust treatment of advanced algebraic skills and trigonometry that are vital in calculus. Algebra topics include functions, compositions, inverses, transformations, complex numbers, roots of polynomial functions, rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions and their properties. Trigonometry is approached via the unit circle as well as the right triangle. Topics include the trigonometric functions, their graphs and identities, inverse trigonometry, and the laws of sine and cosine.
