Introduction Math Bio Modeling with ODEs

Ph.D. Candidate Trevor Reckell will present on utilizing ODE for Math Bio Modeling of all types. This event will be tailored toward undergraduates in their 2-4th year. The spectrum of models covered will start with the most basic analysis of 1-Dimensional and 2-Dimensional systems and will continue with more intricate models on the leading edge of publications. Soft drinks will be served.

Currently looking for volunteers to present! Are you a Ph.D. candidate, Master's candidate, or Undergrad with a research project that you would like feedback on? Volunteer to present and get customized feedback from fellow students where feedback is based upon what you personally request. If interested email mlmancus@asu.edu and describe your project.

Join the Math Bio Club for an alumni panel that will feature past graduates from the Ph.D. programs in SOMSS. The panelists will answer questions about how their work in math bio at ASU affected their current career path, tips for current students, and questions from the audience. The panelists include:

The purpose of the Math Bio Club is to create an inclusive research community that makes math bio research accessible to all. We will provide peer-lead workshops that teach valuable research skills (both general and math bio focused) and a collaborative network to find meaningful ways to contribute to math bio research.
