I am an ASU Alumna having graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computational Mathematical Sciences. Since then, I’ve been working at Carvana as an Analyst on the Quantitative Marketing team. It’s been extremely fulfilling to have found a career where I can combine my passions for math, coding, and data analysis.
I am so excited to talk with you all about preparing for and transitioning to a career in data. I’ll talk about where I started, how I got to where I am today, and what some of my best pieces of advice are that I’ve accumulated along the way. I’ll attempt to lend some clarity into what work is like in the industry when you’re no longer a student and how having that clarity can inform your first career decisions.
