The College Convocation - Gold Ceremony

The College's Spring Convocation will be split into two ceremonies: Maroon Ceremony on Thursday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. and Gold Ceremony on Friday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. The ceremonies will be split by academic unit to divide the number of graduating students as evenly as possible. Once the RSVP portal opens for spring ceremonies (scheduled for late February), graduates will only be able to register for the ceremony to which their academic unit has been assigned. Students who are graduating with multiple degrees from The College whose degrees are represented in the different ceremonies will have the option to RSVP to both ceremonies or can choose to attend just one, during which they will be recognized for all of their degrees. All graduating students will be individually recognized as they walk across the stage and receive their diploma cover.

Tickets are NOT necessary for graduates or guests.

Sun Devil Stadium observes ASU’s clear bag policy. View the policy and a list of both allowed and prohibited items here. Please note that umbrellas are not permitted. In the event of rain, graduates may bring a poncho.

Sun Devil Stadium gates will open at 6 p.m. The guest entrance is through the northeast stadium entrance and through the Student Athlete Facility (SAF) gates on the north end of the stadium.

Parking: During the ceremony, parking is free in Lot 59 and several other parking locations on the north side of campus. You can review additional parking details here. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up are located in Lot 59.
