Some applications of stochastic control in epidemiology

-
Abstract

In my upcoming talk, I discuss how the theory of stochastic control can be used as an important modeling tool to describe epidemic measures such as vaccination, lockdown, mask-wearing, and other measures in mathematical epidemiology. Initially, I will discuss the fundamentals of creating models based on data. Following that, I will establish the ideas to formulate epidemic protocols of contingencies as a problem of sequential decisions.
