Math After Grad School

Phillip Walker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from ASU in 2010. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he was part of various research projects. He spent a year abroad pursing a Master's degree in mathematics, and then returned to ASU where he received his PhD in applied athematics in May of 2018. After grad school, Walker pursued a career in the private sector; first working as a systems engineer for a small aviation consulting firm in North Phoenix, and now as a data scientist for a cancer research company in Tempe.
