Ioannis Kamarianakis

Biography

Ioannis (Yiannis) Kamarianakis' research is in the area of statistical space-time models with emphasis in transportation and environmental applications. Kamarianakis has published many papers on the subjects of traffic forecasting and incident detection in urban networks and on the analysis of remotely sensed data. His research appeared in prestigious journals such as Environmental Science and Technology, Remote Sensing of Environment, Journal of Geophysical Research, International Journal of Epidemiology and Transportation Research Part C. In addition to his published research, Kamarianakis has worked on the development of IBM's Traffic Prediction Tool and has filed three U.S. Patents.
