Biography

John Zicarelli, PhD, FCAS, CFA joined ASU as a professor of practice in 2017. He was an actuary for over 30 years, and served as vice president of strategy and risk management of Scottsdale Insurance Company. He also served as chairman of CAME, LLC., a family-owned and operated private equity investment company. Zicarelli completed a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Ciites, a Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is also a member of Scottsdale Leadership.
