Prof Dev - The Lecturer hiring process: Expectations and tips
Julia (Iuliia) Inozemtseva joined Arizona State University in 2017 as a lecturer at the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. She is the recipient of the 2021 Faculty Women’s Association (FWA) Award for Outstanding Faculty Mentor, the 2020 Outstanding Lecturer Award in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the 2020 Outstanding Instruction and Service Award in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. Prior to teaching at ASU, she pursued research in mathematical biology during her doctoral program at the University of Utah. She received her second master's in math at Georgia Southern University, were she became interested in applied mathematics and math education. Inozemtseva was born in Russia and grew up in Ukraine, in the beautiful city Odessa. She received her master's with honors in math from Odessa National University in 2012.
