 Welcome to Computational Biosciences at ASU
*Now Accepting Applications Spring 2009*The disciplines of the life sciences are rapidly requiring more mathematical and computational analyses than have typically been employed. While some mathematical approaches have been applied to biological questions for many years, the advance in computational capability has increased the pace of bioscience research to unprecedented levels of speed, precision and detail, and thus dramatically transformed the kinds of problems tackled. This degree will serve to produce students capable of meeting the demands of today's Biotechnical/biomedical industries.The graduate program includes core coursework and electives which have been designed to enhance the exisiting expertise of students.Based on the areas of focus,the program has four main tracks: Students can also customise the program to fit their interests.Individual programs will require approval of the Steering Committee.Congratulations to our Spring-2008 Graduates!!!
