Actuarial Sciences Scholarship

The Actuarial Sciences Scholarship will support students interested in actuarial science, by providing financial support for examination fees, access to study materials, attendence at professional meetings, and student research related to actuarial science. An Actuarial Sciences Endowment is being established to provide the support for the scholarship. This fund may also support faculty research in actuarial science. We are grateful to John Zicarelli, FCAS, Vice President, Chief Actuary, Scottsdale Insurance Company for the financial commitment which has permitted the establishment of this fund.

These awards will be administered by the Department of Mathematics in conjunction with members of the Arizona Actuarial Club. We anticipate the awards from this fund to be at a level of $100 to $500.
