Undergraduate Research Experiences
for Computational Math Sciences Majors at ASU

Pizza Seminar - MAT394/MAT494
This 1-credit seminar is designed specifically for CSUMS students, who will be required to participate (it will be open to other interested students).
The goals of the Pizza Seminar include:
- Preparing incoming students for their rearch projects.
Faculty mentors will use the seminar to present essential
background material that is not part of the students' other coursework.
- Providing CSUMS students who have completed their research an
opportunity to give practice talks for conference presentations.
The Pizza Seminar is scheduled in the early afternoon and follows a pizza lunch to provide an opportunity for students and faculty to socialize in an informal
setting.
