Discrete Mathematics

Discrete mathematics is a rapidly evolving area of mathematics with strong connections to theoretical computer science and operations research, as well as to core areas of pure mathematics, especially algebra and number theory. At ASU, faculty work on problems in Graph Theory, Ordered Sets, Ramsey Theory, Discrete Optimization, Algorithms & Computational Complexity, and Algebraic Combinatorics.
