The faculty of the computational mathematics group of the School have a diverse range of interests associated with the fundamental development and understanding of numerical techniques for the solution of real world problems which arise in apparent disparate fields such as semiconductor modeling, medical imaging, inversion of geophysical data, image reconstruction with spectral methods, efficient numerical methods for differeential equations and optimization of manufacturing supply chains.
Our research projects are carried out in an interdiscplinary way through an extensive network of local and international collaborators. Below are links to the primary faculty of the group, where additional information on our funded research projects, publications, on our broader commitments to teaching at all levels, and in particular on the undergraduate program in computational mathematical sciences, can be found.
