Dr. Yan Yang's research interests are in the general area of generalized mixed models, computational methods, a
nd quantitative risk assessment. Her work has focused on developing general methodologies for correlated censored
and bounded data (e.g., survival time, failure time and zero-inflated data), making inferences, evaluating theoretical
bias in marginal analysis, and providing novel model diagnostics. She has investigated risk threshold estimation for
bounded adverse outcomes. She is also interested in microarray data analysis and analysis of lesion occurrence and
magnitude from ultrasound safety studies.
