Dr. Renaut's current research centers around various techniques for the solution of inverse problems, mainly using techniques in linear algebra, total least squares and nonlinear least squares. Application areas of interest are image analysis, image
reconstruction, image deblurring, with from geophysical and medical image data. She is also interested in the design of parallel algorithms. Current research in this area focuses on parallel optimization algorithms for 3D visualization of the brain,
including blind deconvolution and super resolution.
