Dr. Prewitt works in the area of non-parametric function estimation methods and related bandwidth choice with respect to functions such as regression, density and spectral density. She also has interest in time series problems such as spectral estimation, goodness-of-fit tests, order selection in autoregressive models and nonlinear problems.
