Mathematics Testing Center
Location
The Mathematics Testing center is located in PSA 21,
which is in the basement of the Physical Sciences A-wing. See below
for important rules and guidelines for the Testing Center.
Testing Center Hours
The summer hours begin 4/30, and last until the last day before the fall semester, 8/22.
Hours of operation for Summer 2008
Monday through Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm
Last exam given out: 3:30pm
Last exams collected: 4:55pm
Holidays:
The testing center will be closed both Memorial Day, May 26th, and Independence Day, July 4th.
Rules and Guidelines
What to have ready:
- ASU "Sun Card"
– you must have your ASU "Sun Card ID" to test.
- Writing Instrument
- Calculator (when applicable for chapter
exams)--Calculators may be checked for unauthorized material. (Note: NO
Calculators can be used for Mastery exams.) Also, Calculator lids must be removed and placed in your backpack,
or out of sight.
Please note:
- All notes, books and scratch paper must be
left in your closed backpack.
- Cell phones and/or pagers must be turned off (not put on silent, or vibrate).
- Calculator lids must be removed and placed in your backpack, or out of sight.
What the Center provides:
- Exam
- Scratch Paper(personal paper is NOT allowed)
- Quiet Location
What not to bring:
- Food and Drinks
- Children
- Pets
- Bikes
- Headsets
- Inline Skates, skateboards.
(We now have a locked cubicle/room where such transportation can be
locked up since they are not
allowed in the testing center).
The staff is not allowed to answer questions about
the exam or your calculator.
You are NOT allowed to leave the Center once you
have received your exam.
Your instructor should handle questions
regarding the
Testing Center.
