Math Placement Exam with a score of 60 or higher*
Requirement Designation: Satisfies General Studies - MA
Description: Applies basic college-level mathematics to
real-life problems. This is a survey of logic, sets and counting, probability,
statistics, geometry, rates of change and general numeracy. Appropriate
for students whose major does not require MAT 117 or 170.
* This is an on-campus, on-line study.
Students enrolled in these sections will test on campus and are expected
to take advantage of ASU Tempe Campus tutoring resources and instructor
office hours.
