Graphs of Functions Homework:
The Graphs
of Functions Homework contains 5 problems.
Things to remember:
- Domain intervals must be written using
interval notation. The [ and ] indicate that the endpoint is
included. The ( and ) indicate that the endpoint is not included.
- All increasing and decreasing
intervals use parentheses (i.e.: ( and )).
- Infinity is written in WeBWorK with
inf or infinity.
- Even is the same as symmetric with
respect to the y-axis. Odd is the same as symmetric with
respect to the origin.
Homework examples:
- Example
1: similar to problem 1
- Example 2: similar to problem 2
- Example 3: similar to problem 3
- For problem 5, we currently have no
way to find the maximum except using the graphing calculator maximum
function.
For this particular topic, there are not
additional also recommended homework problems.
