Graduate Studies

Our graduate degree programs are designed to build a solid foundation in mathematics while allowing the flexibility of interdisciplinary learning and research. We offer PhD programs in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and mathematics education in addition to a Master of Arts degree. Doctoral Programs

The School of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences offers PhD programs in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Mathematics Education and Statistics. These programs are designed to build a strong foundation in a specific area of mathematics while allowing the flexibility of interdisciplinary research. Master's Programs

The Master’s of Arts and Master's of Science degrees are designed to increase mathematical and statistical knowledge beyond the traditional Bachelor degree in order to prepare students for careers requiring sophisticated mathematical and statistical skills.

Graduate Certificate

The School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences offers a program leading to the Certificate in Statistics.  The program draws upon faculty research and teaching interests from various academic units so that programs of study can be tailored to reflect individual needs and goals.
