CSUMS Seminar, Spring 2009

This seminar is designed specifically for CSUMS students, who will be required to participate.

The goals of the Seminar, which can be taken for 1-4 credits, include:

• Preparing incoming students for their research projects. Faculty mentors will use the seminar to present essential background material that is not part of the students' other coursework.
• Providing CSUMS students who have completed their research an opportunity to give practice talks for conference presentations.

The Seminar is scheduled in the early afternoon and follows a pizza lunch to provide an opportunity for students and faculty to socialize in an informal setting.
