For love or money? There's nothing wrong with getting an education for good job prospects. But if it is in your nature to solve problems, give these problems a try. The problems are open for everyone to take a stab at, and perhaps achieve some personal glory. For those who submit a correct solution, your name will be included in the solved by, list. (That's your personal glory.)
Some problems will have references included with the solution, when applicable.
You may submit a text version (no attachments) of your solution to mathhotline@math.asu.edu, or put your solution online and send the link to mathhotline@math.asu.edu . Or, what will probably be easiest for most math problems, submit a hard copy (paper copy) of your solution to Richard Reynolds in PSA 216.
To view a particular problem, click on the appropriate link in the left frame. If you wish to print a problem, right click on the problem and open the link in a new window or a new tab.
You may also propose a problem or submit a comment either by email, mathhotline@math.asu.edu, or in PSA 216 to Richard Reynolds.
